NEW MEXICO WEIGHT DISTANCE TAX PERMIT

All carriers who transports property or passengers in or through the state of New Mexico have either to apply for a New Mexico Tax ID Permit or they can also buy a single trip permit at a New Mexico Port of Entry.

NEW YORK HUT (HIGHWAY TAX)

New York State imposes a truck mileage tax on motor carriers operating certain motor vehicles on New York State public highways. The truck mileage tax is not imposed on travel on the portions of the New York State Thruway for which a toll is charged.

KENTUCKY REGISTRATION

All carriers having vehicles with a combined licensed weight of 60,000 pounds or greater, must complete the Kentucky Trucking Application to apply for KYU number.

OREGON FILE NUMBER

All out of state based truckers have to obtain an Oregon Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier. It can be a permanent or temporary paper credentials needed for out-of-state-based truckers to operate in or through Oregon.

OPERATING AUTHORITY (MC/FF/MX NUMBER)

The operating authority (MC/FF/MX number) is assigned to interstate for-hire motor carriers and brokers that apply for operating authority. These numbers are also referred to as docket numbers.

USDOT NUMBER

Companies that operate commercial vehicles transporting passengers or hauling cargo in interstate commerce having a registered gross weight of 10000 pounds must be registered with the FMCSA and must have a USDOT Number.

QUEBEC

QUEBEC REGISTRATION The Commission des transports is responsible for registration of the subject persons in the Register of owners and operators of heavy vehicles.In the most serious cases, it may prohibit such persons from operating heavy vehicles or putting them into operation.
